Below you' ll find a selection of some long term commission projects.
ISN'T NITS was a Project to celebrate the 40 Years Anniversary of the famous Band "The Nits". For this Project a large number of Bands were reinterpreting a Song from the Nits for a 3-CD Compilation and an Evening the Band played their Songs accompanied by other Musicians . The Images were made while recording the songs in the Studio and the rehearsal of the Concert.
The second series is an excerpt from an Editorial about the making of the Movie "Zwingli". These Photos were made during the entire period regarding the making of the Movie "Zwingli" for a Special Issue of the Magazine "bref" I use to work regularly for. We did not want to do a typical "making off" as i know it from other film sets. The main focus was on the Image they show from this iconic person and how this atmosphere is transposed into today. Since it was nice to be there as an observer I was totally free in what Images will be in the publication.
The last set is a small collection of images made around 50 miles east of Baghdad near a town called Nahrawan. There is a huge Brickfactory which supports the imagination of the real Apocalypse. Over a enormous area are houndrets of chimenys blowing dirty in the air. It is almost unimaginable that there are people living inside of the factory site. At the time i was there it was impossible to leave the road to enter the area since there was a rumour that some members of the Daesh are hidnig there.
